Rotor / Stator Homogenizers

Kinematica’s batch and inline homogenizers / dispersers achieve fully reproducible results for emulsions, dispersions or cell disruption from lab- and pilot-scale to full-scale production. These homogenizers provide the desired mean particle size and uniform distribution according to the user’s requirements. The field of application is wide, including pharmaceutical, chemical, cosmetics, food and life science.

The POLYTRON® line systems produce fine dispersion, emulsion and homogenization, offering efficient disruption of the systems, reproducibility of the results and simple procedures.
Thanks to the broad range of dispersing aggregates, the POLYTRON® systems are suitable for various laboratory applications, including disruption of animal and human tissues, sample preparation for RNA and DNA extraction, disruption of fruits and vegetables samples, sample preparation in the waste water industry, pills disruption for content analysis in the pharma industry as well as making emulsions from oil and water. Various models are available, from handheld dispersers to powerful stand-dispersers.

Kinematica’s POLYTRON® batch series for pilot plant and production is ideal for applications up to 40 resp. 50 liters and for scale ups from research and development to pilot plant or small production scale processes. These units offer high versatility in the size and numbers of aggregates to be used, for laboratory, pilot plant and small production applications. This permits the direct comparison of results between the smaller and larger aggregates, facilitating the scale up decision.

Kinematica’s MEGATRON® inline pilot plant system MT 5100 S2 enables processing of complex material systems with minimal loss of mass and minimal energy, leading to efficient and replicable results. This helps you realize your ideas under as realistic conditions as possible in small economic quantities. During the scale-up process, the results can be replicated with larger Kinematica machines.

Depending on the material’s system, the components bind into the finest emulsions or suspensions with droplet or particle sizes down to a few microns, achieved by the machines’ high speed, the resulting peripheral tip speeds and precise rotor / stator geometry. More information
