Nutsche Filters are high-quality equipment designed for solid-liquid separation processes, by filtration under vacuum / pressure, mainly in the pharmaceutical, chemical, fine chemical and food industry. Our glass nutsche filter portfolio is smartly designed and built of highly corrosion resistant materials. This leads to easy and safe operation of the equipment and the highest quality of your end products. The available sizes range from lab through pilot to production scale. The metal nutsche filters, available from pilot to production scale, are made of stainless steel and Hastelloy® and other corrosion resistant alloys. For smaller volumes in labs and kilo labs, we offer metal pressure filters with a sturdy, smart and easy to operate set-up. Filter Dryers are agitated nutsche filters that incorporate drying as a further process step, whereby the filter box is heated, while the content is simultaneously stirred under vacuum, ensuring efficient and gentle drying. For high-potency API (HPAPI) applications we offer a specifically designed high containment nutsche filter, which allows controlled filtration and contained discharge of the filter cake. For solid phase peptide synthesis (SPPS) applications, we offer highly engineered filter reactors from lab through pilot to production scale.

Büchi nutsche filters can easily be combined with Büchi reactors for solid / liquid separation after the synthesis. The inert materials allow safe processing of a wide range of solvents and acids in an inert atmosphere and in a completely sealed glass system (büchiflex) under full vacuum.

Typical applications include filtration, drying, purification, crystallization, ion exchange, solid phase peptide synthesis (SPPS), chromatography as well as cannabis extraction (solvent extraction), cannabinoid extraction, cannabis extract purification and cannabis winterization (cannabis extract winterization). Stirred nutsche filters by Büchi are used for filtration as well as for solid phase peptide synthesis (SPPS). They can easily be combined with Büchi reactors for solid / liquid separation after the synthesis. The inert materials allow safe processing in an inert atmosphere of a wide range of solvents and acids in a completely sealed (büchiflex) glass system under full vacuum.

As solid phase reactors, they can be equipped for fully automated processes. Stirrers are provided in glass lined steel, Hastelloy® or stainless steel. The stirrer height can be adjusted pneumatically under full vacuum operation condition, which enables the squeezing of the slurry. More information

Büchi pressure filters are designed for filtration, pressurizing the vessel with up to 6bar pressure. They offer a removable filter basket, a quick opening / closing system and a perfect fit to Büchi pressure reactors, allowing for an easy operation. The pressure filters are available in various sizes and filter types as well as with an optional heating jacket for temperature-controlled filtration. Process connections are standard Tri-clamp configuration. More information
